materials:
steel - ASTM-A36, hot rolled steel, the solid, essential foundation . . . defining the form.
wood - solid, 8/4 hard white maple . . . natural, warm material with a shimmering grain providing scale & depth to the surface touched by the user.
construction: A circle with an inscribed square. The skeleton exists to provide placement for the maple, the warm interface for the user.
